           DEFINITION

Merriam Dictionary defines dance drama as "drama conveyed by dance movements sometimes accompanied by dialogue."
POINTERS OF PRESENTATION
1.    Should have a STORY.
2.    Emotions must be PROPERLY CONVEYED in relation to the theme of the song.
  • GUIDELINES:
1.    Music/Song
a.    Should NOT be remixed but CAN be edited with sound effects and recorded dialog (optional).
b.    Should be in 4-5 mins only.
 NOTE: Music should be given to the committee in charge (Sound and technical) prior to the presentation to avoid delayed performance.

2.    Contestants
a.    Before the presentation:
                                                                               i.    Practice.
                                                                               ii.    Prepare the props and costumes
                                        NOTE: Do not use TOO MUCH props.
      b. During the presentation:
                                                                              i.        Each group is given 30 seconds:
           -10 seconds- stage preparation
           -20 seconds- introduction of the group (like in showtime)
                                   ii.    Give the best of their performance
                           c.  After the presentation:
                                   i. Bring the used props off the stage.
                                          NOTE: Be responsible of your own waste.
